Going Shopping

Who did homework?

Amara did. Well done. I knew you were going to use this excuse, “I couldn’t enter the blog.” But, I told you in class what the homework was. 

We listened to the sort of items Katherine, Leo and Jane bought.

·         What sort of sunglasses did she buy? She bought a pair of designer glasses.

·         What sort of pen did he buy? He bought a fountain pen.

·         What sort of atlas did he buy? He bought a world atlas.

·         What sort of bags did she buy? She bought two travel bags.

Remember:

A high-heeled shoes, a fountain pen, a gift-wrapped present, a solar-powered calculator, a silk black dress, a world atlas, a designer sunglasses.

We found out (discovered) how Patricia buys on the net.

She uses her mobile. First, she goes into a sit and sees a list of items she can buy. After that, she touches the icons of the items she wants to buy and looks at the images on screen. For example, she surfs a music website. Next, she goes into dance music and finds the names of bands. Then, she watches videos and listens to sound clips. Finally, she downloads the music onto her phone.

As we are talking about Patricia in present, we use “s”. She watches. She sees. She surfs.

You told me what things your family buy on the net. Not you, because you aren’t old enough to buy things without your parents supervision.

Don’t forget to do homework.

You’ll get at least 1 point for doing homework and more points depending on how good it is.

Write a composition about shopping. Answer these questions in the text. But don’t write the questions and answers. Write a paragraph!
